How to request the removal of your data from Olynx and any platforms you've connected through us.

What happens when you request deletion

Olynx is the field operating system used by your business to manage clients, projects, marketing campaigns, and connected social platforms. When you request data deletion, we will remove the personal data we hold about you from our production systems within 30 days, and revoke any tokens that grant Olynx access to third-party platforms (Meta, Google, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.) on your behalf.

Backup snapshots are retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery and are then permanently destroyed. Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot be tied back to you are retained indefinitely for product improvement.

What we delete

  • Your account, profile, and all data you created within Olynx (clients, projects, estimates, time logs, photos, messages, ad campaigns, scheduled posts).
  • OAuth tokens we hold for any third-party platform you connected (Meta, Google, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.).
  • Webhook events and message history routed through Olynx from those platforms.
  • AI usage logs, search history, and session metadata associated with your account.

What stays under your control on third-party platforms

Olynx connects to platforms like Meta and Google on your behalf. Content you published through Olynx (Facebook posts, Instagram reels, ad campaigns, Google Business updates) lives on those platforms — Olynx only holds a reference to it. After we revoke access, those platforms still hold that content; you must delete it directly from each platform if desired. We will provide a list of the platforms we connected for you on request.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — From inside Olynx: sign in, go to Settings → Account → Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm. Deletion runs automatically and you receive a confirmation email when complete.

Option 2 — By email: if you no longer have access to your account, send a request to privacy@olynxai.com from the email address associated with your account. Include your full name and, if possible, the business name you used at signup. We will verify ownership and process the request within 30 days.

Option 3 — Through the platform that referred you: if you arrived at Olynx via Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and want to revoke our access there, go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations, find Olynx, and click Remove. Meta will notify us automatically and we will purge the corresponding data within 30 days.

Confirmation and tracking

Every deletion request receives a confirmation code by email when initiated, and a final confirmation when complete. If you need to follow up on a request, reply to the original email with your confirmation code or contact privacy@olynxai.com.
